Deer Isle Veterinary Clinic Is Now Open!
The best summer ever just got better! Deer Isle Veterinary Clinic is officially open, and we’re thrilled to once again provide veterinary care right here on the island.
After being closed for more than three years, we are proud to welcome pets and their families back to our clinic. As the only veterinary hospital on Deer Isle, we know how important it is for local pet owners, seasonal residents, and visitors to have trusted care nearby.
We are now offering wellness appointments and general care every Thursday at our Deer Isle location, making it easier to keep your pets healthy without leaving island life behind. Please note that diagnostic imaging services, including X-rays and ultrasound, are not currently available at our Deer Isle location.
Our pharmacy is not yet fully stocked. Please call ahead before coming to pick up a medication so we can confirm that it is available. Certain specialty medications may not be routinely carried at this location, but we can often order medications quickly. For items that need to be ordered, please allow 7–10 business days whenever possible.
Whether you’re enjoying a beach day, heading out on the boat, hosting family at the cottage, or simply trying to enjoy every minute of a Maine summer, trusted veterinary care is a little closer to home again.
